I am going top be in the north burbs next week for a training seminar. I like to try to get some gaming in when ever I travel (since I'll be missing the fun at my home venue and to meet new players).
I see that, at least at one time, you scheduled SWM on Thursdays. Do you still have games at that time? If so what kind of format do you play?
We actually do still play: I'm planning on going this Thursday, as for the next. However, if it is a tournament week, you do have to pay five dollars, whether just five dollars or buying five dollars worth of merchandise.
We do non-sealed events because we normally don't have enough people to do a out-of-box tournament.
We normally announce what the squad format is on these forums before the event. We have not done that the last couple of weeks because we've been waiting to see who shows up with space minis and who shows up with ground minis.
This week we are doing a 150 point traditional squad building rules. Only Fringe can be mixed.
