The art on this book is absolutely astounding:
 
 
 
The story is a fictionalized version of the true story of four lions which escaped from the Baghdad Zoo after an American bombing in 2003.   
 
I know, I know.  Talking Lions equals Disney, right?   Not so much.  This books is very much worth checking out, and for a $20 hardcover, it's a good deal.
